SOCIAL MEDIA POST
This social media carousel post was designed for my Newhouse VIS 207: Graphic Design class based on an annual summit hosted by Regenerative Travel—an association of travel companies “at the forefront of driving the travel industry towards a regenerative future.” Educating individuals on sustainable practices through the lens of travel, I believe, is a unique and intriguing way to get people to adopt environmentally conscious habits and behaviors into specific areas their lives. Thus, I aimed to target this post towards individuals who, like myself, are passionate about the issue of climate change and have a lust to explore the world while making a conscious effort to preserve its natural wonders. I also, however, hoped to reach frequent and avid travelers who may be unaware of the grave importance of doing so consciously and sustainably— communicating and connecting with my audience through an educational, persuasive, and approachable tone.
